ADVISORY: BPI-Robinsons Bank merger-related System Integration Activities
On Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we will conduct the first batch of system integration activities related to the merger of Robinsons Bank with BPI.
During this period, both BPI and Robinsons Bank channels and services will be temporarily unavailable.
Alternatively, you may use your BPI and Robinsons Bank Credit Cards as these will remain available.
Please plan your transactions accordingly.

1. When will the BPI-Robinsons Bank merger-related system integration activities take place and which BPI and Robinsons Bank channels and services will be unavailable during the activities?
We will conduct the first batch of system integration activities related to the merger of Robinsons Bank with BPI on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
During this period, the following will be temporarily unavailable:
• BPI Channels – ATMs and Cash Accept Machines (CAMs), BPI app
and BPI online, VYBE by BPI, BPI BizKo, and BPI BizLink*
• BPI services using BPI online credentials in partner websites and apps, and interbank funds transfer (InstaPay and PESONet)
• Robinsons Bank Channels – RBank ATMs, RBank Online Banking, RBank Digital app, and RBank Corporate Banking
• BPI and Robinsons Bank Debit Cards
You may use your BPI and Robinsons Bank Credit Cards as these will remain available

2. Who will be affected by the system integration activities?
• BPI clients who plan to use BPI ATMs and CAMs; BPI app and BPI online; BPI online credentials in partner apps and websites, and interbank funds transfer (InstaPay and PESONet); BPI Debit Cards; BPI BizKo; BPI BizLink; and VYBE by BPI.
• Robinsons Bank clients who plan to use Robinsons Bank ATMs, RBank Online Banking, RBank Digital app, RBank Corporate Banking, and Robinsons Bank Debit Cards
3. Which BPI and Robinsons Card services will be available?
• BPI Credit Cards will be available for in-store and online purchases, and cash advance via non-BPI ATMs subject to cash advance fee and other applicable fees.
• Robinsons Bank Credit Cards will be available for in-store and online purchases
4. Will the branches be open to assist me?
• BPI and Robinsons Bank branches will not be open during the Holy Week from April 17 to April 20, 2025. We encourage you to plan ahead and complete your branch visits and transactions before the first batch of system integration activities related to the BPI-Robinsons Bank merger. 5. I have bills to pay on these dates. When and how should I pay them?
• We encourage you to pay your bills ahead of the first batch of BPI-Robinsons Bank merger-related system integration activities to avoid possible penalties and charges.
You may also use your BPI and Robinsons Bank Credit Cards, as these will remain available. Additionally, VYBE will be accessible for bill payments during system integration activities.
6. I have scheduled payments through BPI Auto Debit Arrangement (ADA) on those dates. Will the system integration activities affect my BPI ADA transactions?
• Your scheduled BPI ADA transactions that fall within the duration of the system integration activities, will be processed on the next banking day, which is on Monday, April 21, 2025.
7. Can I withdraw using my BPI or Robinsons Bank Debit Card from BPI, Robinsons Bank and non-BPI or non-Robinsons Bank ATMs during the system integration activities?
• No. Kindly plan ahead and make your cash withdrawals at any time before 8:00 AM or after 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
8. Can I do international withdrawals?
• No. All BPI and Robinsons Bank Debit Card services, including international withdrawals, will be unavailable during the system integration activities. You may use your BPI Credit Card for international cash advances, subject to applicable fees.
9. I have a non-BPI / non-Robinsons Bank card (local or foreign), can I still use BPI or Robinsons Bank ATMs?
• No. We recommend that you do your transactions prior to or after the system integration activities. Your card issuer may charge fees on top of BPI or Robinsons Bank fees to process your transaction.
10. If I need money, in cases of emergency, what are my options?
• To avoid any inconvenience, please withdraw cash from your BPI or Robinsons Bank Debit Card account and complete your in-store and online transactions before the system integration activities scheduled on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Alternatively, you may
o use your BPI Credit Card for:
– In-store and online purchases
– Cash advance at any non-BPI ATMs
o use your Robinsons Bank Credit Card for:
– In-store and online purchases
We encourage you to plan accordingly and do your urgent transactions (BPI CAM deposits, ATM withdrawals, BPI app, BPI online, RBank Digital app, RBank Online Banking transactions) before the first batch of BPI-Robinsons Bank merger-related system integration activities.
11. I have post-dated checks scheduled on those dates. Will the system integration activities have an effect on my post-dated checks?
• Since the first batch of BPI-Robinsons Bank merger-related system integration activities will take place on Holy Thursday, April 17, 2025 when there is no clearing of checks, your post-dated checks will not be affected. However, please ensure that your checking accounts are sufficiently funded.
12. When can I see my updated transaction history and/or statement of account?
• Your transaction history will be updated right after the first batch of BPI – Robinsons Bank merger-related system integration activities.
